DBS 506E – Learning to Interpret Scripture. Dr. Robert A.Vogel, Ph.D. In this course you will study the foundational principles and interpretive procedures of the grammatico-historical method of biblical interpretation. You will also apply these principles and procedures in actual Bible study, using the English Bible. Required during the first year of M.A. or M.Div. studies. DVD ROM format. 4 hours or 4 Learning Units.
DBS 506XE – Interpretation Principles. Dr. Robert A.Vogel, Ph.D. This course focuses on the foundational principles of biblical interpretation, and is limited to those students who have been granted advanced standing for the exegetical method portion of the DBS506 course, “Learning to Interpret Scripture.” DVD ROM format. 2 hours or 2 Learning Units.
DBS 506YE – Interpretation Methods. Dr. Robert A. Vogel, Ph.D. This course focuses on the application of interpretive procedures in Bible study. Offered only to students by permission of the registrar; requires previous mastery of the foundational principles of biblical hermeneutics. DVD ROM format. 2 hours or 2 Learning Units.
