We are no longer accepting applications for admission to the M.A. (Intercultural Studies) degree
program. Students desiring intercultural ministry emphasis may instead complete the M.A.
in Ministry and Leadership: Open Track with intercultural studies electives. For more details,

The M.A. (Intercultural Studies) program trains students to communicate the gospel in cross-cultural
settings, no matter where they serve. This training includes cultural analysis, adaptation, ministry
practice, and communication theory -- as well as our trademark integration of biblical and theological
studies. The result is that graduates bring gospel-centered transformation as missionaries overseas,
or as advocates and church planters amongst the increasingly diverse community found in the 21st
century United States.

Flexible Scheduling
The M.A. (Intercultural Studies) may be completed in two years’ time through conventional
courses on any of our campuses. Students who live at a distance may also complete their training
without the need to relocate or leave their ministry context through the following scheduling options,
though their completion timeframe may be extended:

Admission Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited undergraduate institution
- A
cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
- A completed application for admission
and all admissions materials
