When applying for admission to Western Seminary, please submit all application
materials (forms, fees, essays, recommendations and transcripts) before the application
deadline for the semester in which you’d like to begin studies. This guarantees
that you will be considered for admission to your preferred degree program. Our
admissions committee aims to deliver a decision regarding your admission status
in writing, within fifteen business days.
We ask that you submit your application no more than one year before the semester
that you intend to start.
You are welcome to contact your campus’ Admissions Office to verify the
arrival of documents such as transcripts and recommendations. If more information
is needed from you, our admissions staff will contact you by telephone, email,
or in writing.
International students should submit application forms by March 1 and all references,
transcripts and other materials by June 30. Should you wish to request an exception
to our application policy, please contact Andy Peloquin, International Student
Coordinator at apeloquin@westernseminary.edu.
When applying for either of these degree programs, these additional application
must be completed by the application deadline:
- completion of required testing, and
- scheduling of a faculty interview
Some doctoral courses are offered mid-way through the semester to which you
are applying. Doctor of Ministry program applicants who meet the general admission
standards may apply for admission to the Doctor of Ministry program after the
above mentioned deadlines. However, all application materials must be received
10 weeks before the start date of the course.
