| -Residential and outpatient addiction and mental health services to adolescents, young adults, adults, both males and females, and families. Treatment includes alcohol addiction, drug abuse, mental health services, and dual diagnosis. The following clientelle are referred out, these services are not provided at De Paul: sex offender treatment, parenting skills, and treatment for severely and persistently mentally ill. |

Letters of interest may be sent any time during the year to Sarah Maki at sarahm@depaultreatmentcenters.org. Please indicate preference for start date. An interview will be conducted and applicant may be asked to meet with the treatment team. A background check will also be required.

Requirements:
Preference given to interns with poise, good boundaries, and an interest in working with substance abuse population.
Specific Schdule Requirements?
Scheduling is flexible Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. The intern will be expected to work two days, 10-15 hours per week. The intern will also be expected to attend the student life meetings scheduled on Thursdays 9-10:30am.

Summary Comments:
All interns will need to participate in the new employee orientation. There is also e-learning available to interns. There is much opportunity to participate in clinical staff meetings, which occur on a daily basis. Interns will receive good training; work with diverse staff; and gain knowledge and experience in both addictions and mental health services. De Paul places interns at three different locations: (1) 1312 SW Washington St., Portland, OR, Outpatient services (Team meetings Wednesdays at 3 p.m. and Group Supervision on Thursdays at 11 a.m.). Residential services for men (Team meetings on Wednesdays from 3-5pm, Group Supervision on Thursdays 3-4pm, and on days worked, a.m. treatment meetings from 9:45-10:15am), and Residential services for women (Staff meetings Tuesdays 2-4pm); (2) 205 SE 3rd Avenue, Suite 100, Hillsboro, Outpatient Services, including DUII for young adults, adults, and families (Team meetings on Tuesdays at 11am and Group Supervision on Tuesdays at 3:30pm); and (3) 4310 NE Killingsworth, Portland, Residential and Outpatient services for adolescents ages 12-21 and their families.
