Morrison is a community mental health facility providing a broad range of services to clients who are covered by the Oregon Health Plan.

| - The various entities under the Morrison umbrella provide a broad range of services. Drug and alcohol issues are referred to a specialized unit. Developmentally delyaed children are also often referred. |

Call to schedule an appointment with Drew McWilliams (503) 258-4411 for working with children and adults; Margie MacLeod (503)258-4563 for working with children ages birth through 4 years; and Suzanne K. Wallace, MSW, CSWA for school based programs. Interviews will be scheduled April through August varying by program.

Requirements:
Students must have: (1) a capactiy to understand how to provide service with limited resources; (2) a basic theoretical orientaion identified as one they work from (long-term psychodynamic is not an option at this site); (3) be willing to include families in the therapy process; (4) have high moral and ethical standards; and (5) be able to work in tandem with a team of providers.

Summary Comments:
Morrison offers a wide variety of potential placements, including all different ages and diagnoses. Students are required to have auto insurance of $100,000/$300,000 if they drive anywhere as a part of their internship. Students will become skilled at triage and attending to critical clients with limited resounces. Students will also have the opportunity to work alongside other disciplines with a team approach to care.
