As a distance education
student, it's imperative that you maintain good communication with the
staff and faculty at Western. The following individuals will play a
key role in making your seminary experience a positive one:
Jon
Raibley (877.517.1800 x1899 or 503.517.1899) - Jon is the advisor
for many distance education students. He can offer suggestions regarding
curriculum and program planning. He is also skilled in the educational application of advanced technologies,
so please feel free to call him if you have any technical difficulties.
Mark
Baker (800.893.8567 or 503.517.1900) - Mark is the CLL student services
representative. He will
be assisting you with registration questions, coordinating the distribution
of DVDs and other materials, and doing much of the administrative support
for you. If you're not sure who can answer your question, check with
Mark.
Blake Kidney (877.517.1800 x1885 or 503.517.1885) - Blake is a Western
Seminary media production assistant specializing in video, audio and Internet systems. If you experience technical challenges, Blake will be pleased to assist you with any technical
difficulties.
Your Course Mentor / Professor - Each class has either a course mentor (for standard CLL classes) or a professor
(for hybrids or in-ministry classes). Please communicate regularly with
your mentor, and feel free to ask this person any questions
you may have regarding course curriculum.
