Everything You Need to Know About
The Celebration Banquet

Dates and Times. Our Celebration Banquet will be on Friday, April 25th. The banquet begins at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:40 pm. We anticipate that the program will end around 9:00 pm.

Getting There. The banquet will be at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel. For directions, click here.

Attire. The Celebration Banquet attire is fairly dressy. Men usually wear jackets and ties, and women generally wear skirts or dresses.

Children. Western Seminary encourages guests not to bring children under the age of five, or older children who cannot sit quietly for extended periods of time. Mothers of nursing infants are welcome to bring their babies.

Vegetarian Entree Option. You'll notice that the menu for the banquet is listed below. Please check with each of your guests prior to purchasing tickets. If any of them would prefer a vegetarian entree, you must notify Julie Brown when you purchase banquet tickets. Guests may only receive a vegetarian entree if they have requested one at the time when tickets are purchased - not on the night of the banquet.

Purchasing Tickets. Julie Brown (503.517.1805) will be selling banquet tickets. They will be on sale from March 31 - April 18. Julie’s office hours are: Monday 8:30am-12:00pm (and 5:15pm-5:45pm on March 31), Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, & Thursday 8:30pm-3:00pm.

Each graduate will receive two complimentary banquet tickets. Additionally, Western Seminary is pleased to subsidize eight additional tickets in order to fill a table of ten. These subsidized tickets will be $16 each. All additional tickets will be the full price of $32 each.
