Fall Open Registration will take place from July 1-31. This is a time when you may add and drop classes without any financial penalty. Starting August 1st, late fees will be incurred, so it is to your advantage to register as early as possible. Please also be aware that some classes fill up fast, so early registration is recommended for this reason as well. Contact Carrie Priest at carriepriest@westernseminary.edu for any questions related to registration.
As we finish out this summer semester, it is time to begin planning for the fall semester (yes, already!). The fall semester begins in September, but registration starts July 1st! There are a couple of things that you’ll need to do BEFORE you are permitted to register in July. There will be two holds placed on your account and you will not be able to register until those are lifted. First, you’ll need to sign and submit (with your original, ink signature) the 2009-2010 Enrollment Agreement. Upon receipt of that (either snail mailed or hand delivered – no scans, copies, faxes), one hold will be lifted. Second, you will need to meet with your academic advisor to plan out your classes for the fall and, if possible, for the subsequent semesters (especially if you’re planning to graduate next June) to make sure you’re on target with your degree requirements. Once you’ve met with your advisor, and your advisor has confirmed with Carrie Priest that you’ve met, the second hold will be lifted. Please do not wait until the last minute! Contact your advisor to make an appointment.
