MASM Degree is Changing to MAML
Did you know that the Master of Arts in Specialized Ministry is changing? Beginning in the fall of 2010, the MASM will be changing to the Master of Arts in Ministry & Leadership (MAML) ! To learn more about the MAML degree and optional specializations, listen to this interview podcast of current MASM (soon to be MAML) student, Sarah Germain, as she describes gospel-centered Pastoral Care to Women and Coaching. For more info, contact Carrie Priest at carriepriest@westernseminary.edu.
Fall 2010 Open Registration - July 1-31
This is a time when you may add and drop classes without any financial penalty. Starting August 1st, late fees
will be incurred, so it is to your advantage to register as early as possible. Please also be aware that some classes fill up fast, so early registration is recommended. The Fall 2010 Semester schedule is posted online.
Fall Registration Holds on All Student Accounts
Some of you might be wondering why you have a registration hold on your account. The reason is you are required to meet with your academic advisor to plan out your classes for the fall and, if possible, for the subsequent semesters (especially if you’re planning to graduate next June) to make sure you’re on target with your degree requirements. There will be a hold on your account and you will not be permitted to register until you meet with your advisor. Once you’ve met with your advisor, and your advisor has confirmed with Carrie Priest that you’ve met, your hold will be lifted. Summer is a time when faculty and staff go on vacation, so please do not wait until the last minute! Contact your advisor to make an appointment.
