Dr. Enoch Wan has a rich background of service in the United States, Canada and Asia. He previously served on the faculty at the Canadian Theological Seminary (founder and director of the Centre for Intercultural Studies) and Reformed Theological Seminary (founder and director of the Ph.D. Intercultural Studies Program), Alliance Biblical Seminary – Manila, Alliance Theological College - Canberra. With wide-ranging experience as a teacher, church planter, pastor and field researcher, he comes to the classroom with significant insights and great enthusiasm. In addition to various scholarly articles, Dr. Wan is the founder/editor of the e-journal: www.globalmissiology.org.

His publications include: Mission Resource Manual, Missions Within Reach, several books (in Chinese) on Sino-theology (contextual theology for the Chinese), a devotional commentary on Mark and a guide book on Christian marriage. His publications in 2004 are: Christian Witness in Pluralistic Contexts in the 21st Century, Jewish-Gentile Couples: Trends, Challenges, and Hopes, Scattered: The Filipino Global Presence.

Dr. Wan had served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Missiology, Chairman of the Board - China Academic Consortium, VP of Evangelical Missiological Society – SE Region, contributing editor of the Great Commission International Bi-monthly, Chinese Around the World, etc. He is currently serving as board member of Great Commission International, Message Inc., and China Academic Consortium; Executive VP of Evangelical Missiological Society; Contributing Editor of the electronic Christian newspaper – www.GospelPost.com

Dr. Wan’s research interests are: anthropology, ethnic ministry, cross-cultural counseling, spiritual warfare, urban studies and research methodology.
