Arturo (Art) Azurdia III joined the faculty of Western Seminary in January 2006. He directs the pastoral mentoring program and teaches selected preaching courses for both masters and doctoral students.

Azurdia said, “I am really looking forward to the spiritual, intellectual, and social interactions with students and faculty. This is indispensable to our ongoing development as image-bearers of the living God.”

Western is thrilled to have added another seasoned pastor and exemplary preacher to our teaching team. Azurdia embodies what
we desire for our graduates, and we are excited about how the Lord is using him to
help us shape the next generation of
preaching pastors.
