Tom is the Senior Pastor at Sun Grove Community Church in Elk Grove, California. He has served as Site Dean for Western Seminary Sacramento and Adjunct Professor of Pastoral Theology. Tom also is a licensed architect and practiced for many years prior to entering ministry full-time. He loves to teach, motivate, and mentor others. Tom is a self-described Leadership Development Nerd, focusing much of his energies on how leaders develop their gifts, talents and abilities.

He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and received his Bachelor of Architecture, attended Western Seminary and obtained a Master of Divinity, and returned to University of Southern California and earned a Doctor of Education degree. Tom serves on the Board of Trustees for Western Seminary and Becoming What God Intended Ministries

Tom loves the outdoors, wakeboarding, snowboarding, mountain biking, and hanging out with his wife Kirsten and their three children. He reads the comics daily, has a goofy sense of humor, and is a major USC football fan.
