Since our beginning in 1927, Western Seminary has graduated almost 5000 men and women who have answered Christ's call to ministry. Whether serving as pastors, Christian educators, worship leaders, counselors, chaplains or in any of hundreds of other strategic ministry roles, our graduates are trained to care for the needs of people here at home and around the world.

The reality, however, is that the cost of the resources needed to train students for a lifetime of service are far beyond the ability of most students to pay. Western Seminary depends on the generosity of our alumni, friends and churches to help underwrite the cost of ministry preparation and to keep tuition costs within reach of those who are qualified for, and called to, ministry. Currently gift revenues help to cover more than 1/3 of the cost of a students education...in effect providing a scholarship to each student who enrolls.
