At Western Seminary, we intend to deploy the most effective shepherds, spiritual leaders, and ministry entrepreneurs the world has ever known. I believe that the training centers of California are strategically located for carrying out that mission. What better place to have seminary students grapple with the timeless truth of God’s Word and its powerful application than in what is very possibly the cultural, technological, and economic heart of the world? 

Supporters to the General Fund invest in the everyday lives of Western Seminary's students. How? The General Fund supports everything from computer equipment to library books to maintenance and general operating expenses.

Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship Fund provides scholarship funding to assist students in pursuing their education at Western Seminary. Scholarships are based on need and are awarded by the seminary's Financial Aid Office.

Endowment Fund

We are establishing an Endowment Fund to bring stability to our operating budget, and allow Western Seminary / Northern California to achieve and to maintain quality and excellence. An endowment gift expands the ministry and protects the future.

There are two ways you can give to our general support:

1.  Outright gifts using a check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card). We also have a direct deposit program whereby each month your gift can be automatically deducted from your checking account.

2.  Planned gifts are given through bequests, charitable gift annuities, life insurance policies, retirement plan designations or charitable remainder trusts. Supporters who plan a gift carefully make a positive impact on the seminary's future. This approach enables supporters to make sizeable gifts during their lifetimes while retaining the assets from their income and receiving substantial tax benefits.
