The 469 El Camino Real location is a second story, 9,600 sq. ft.
space with ample space for campus use, holding more room for classrooms, offices and meeting
spaces than available on the previous campus. The space has a campus-wide wireless connection
benefiting students, faculty, and staff. Classrooms are equipped with digital audio/visual
equipment. The library continues to provide a reserved reading collection and additional research-related
texts. Natural lighting infuses classrooms and common areas. The elevator in the main lobby
area is convenient for disability access.
Several amenities are within close proximity to
this site:
- Transit center: The Santa Clara transit center is a hub for
local transportation, and is conveniently located next to the parking lot.
- Caltrain
rail service connects Santa Clara from Gilroy to San Francisco, and to transit
systems covering Northern California;
- Local public buses travel all over the South Bay;
- Altamont
Commuter Express trains transport riders Monday through Friday from San Jose
to Stockton;
- The center includes bicycle lockers and free shuttle connections to the San Jose
International Airport.
- Freeway access: This location is less than a mile from 880, and close to 101
and 280 freeways.
- Parking: There is a parking lot with ample parking, including
a two-story, covered parking structure.
- Dining establishments: Starbucks, Quiznos
and Cramer’s
Bages are located in the project, with a wide variety of other dining options within walking
distance.
- Hotel accommodations: Candlewood Suites is across the parking lot, with Best
Western Inn, Days Inn, Madison Street Inn and Holiday Inn Express all located within
a mile from the building.
- Santa Clara University: SCU is across the street, providing
a collegiate environment with academic resources and name recognition.

station: The City of Santa Clara police station is just north of the site.
