Western San Jose Holds Opening Ceremony at New Location

Western Seminary San Jose is taking leaps of faith that began with its relocation and continues in prayerful advances in admissions and new training opportunities.

Western took one giant leap towards fulfilling its mission at the San Jose Campus. After months of prayerful searching and diligent researching, the San Jose officially opened its new campus location at 469 El Camino Real in Santa Clara on Saturday, November 20.

Staff, faculty, alumni and guests gathered to dedicate the new site to be an instrument for the Lord to strengthen His church and witness in the world. During the ceremony, President Randal Roberts and Dr. Scott Reavely described the journey the board took with God leading them to this new location. Professor Steve Korch and Director Dan Ruiz extended thanks to God and the many who journeyed together to see the successful relocation.

The gathering joined in prayer and praise, singing hymns of remembrance and anticipation. Some also picked up current students profiles and committed to pray for the requests students listed on their cards. Later, this gathering of the Western family connected over lunch and toured the new location.
