Education: B.A. in Ed. from Concordia U. (Spanish, Hist., Theo.). Lord willing, I will complete an M.A. in Apologetics from Biola in Dec. 2011. Moving to pursue an M.Div in expositional/exegetical studies at Western. My passion is preaching the Gospel and teaching from the Word, but I also love examining doctrine, apologetics, and so on.
Ministry Experience: I've taught 9 yrs. at a Christian HS including OT, NT, Church History, World Rel., Christian Ethics (WV thinking), Spanish & Speech. I planned chapels, assemblies, retreats, discipleship groups. My wife and I are weekend relief parents at a home for pregnant teens (since 8-09). I served as youth pastor at our previous church. At our current church I have done ministry in state correctional facilities for youth (sharing the Gospel on Sunday afternoons). I have also preached at our church.
