Jon
has served the academic efforts of the Western Seminary Center
for Lifelong Learning(formerly the Department of External Studies)
for more than 16 years. Jon graduated from Western Seminary
with both the Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees,
with a Th.M. specialization in distance learning. His personal
efforts have helped to maintain the high standards demandedby
our faculty and students and to make seminary education possible
forhundreds of men and women from across the United States.
Jon and his wife,Vilena, have been married for 20 years and
have four rapidly-growing children.
