Ministry Specialties - Leading and teaching Women’s retreats, workshops, Bible Studies, leadership training and mentoring leaders. I love doing innovate things as a teacher, inspiring women to love and be transformed by the Word of God. I have a gift of mercy and often see healing of some sort take place at retreats. I currently have four retreats I am doing: “Women on the Journey”, “Abba’s Arms”, “Moving Mountains” and “Enjoying Life”. I have developed a 6-week leadership development class called “The Shepherd’s Place” helping women clarify their calling and fall more deeply in love with their Shepherd.

Mission Statement - Developing, growing and restoring people and ministries for the glory of God. I am passionate about helping others identify and develop their spiritual gifts as well as clarifying their life purposes. I am a visionary leader who loves coming alongside others to develop God-initiated ministries. Growing people in God’s Word through the Spiritual Disciplines is the passion of my life. I teach them to hear from Him and endeavor to inspire them to love and know Him. I know my own needs for His restoration and am passionate to see Him restore others. I deeply resonate with mercy ministries and a call to the nations.

Ministry Background - Ministry has been my vocation since 1987. Thirteen of those years I have served as a Women’s Pastor and most recently as Community Pastor (overseeing adult ministry). I am ordained as a pastor currently working at Summit View Church in Vancouver, WA.
Professional Background - Same as above. In my earlier life (before ministry) I was a Mom and part-time legal secretary.

Educational Background - Graduate Studies Diploma, Pastoral Care to Women, Western Seminary, 2001. I am currently in the certification program at Western in Life Coaching.

Speaking Experience - I have led or spoken at many Women’s retreats including Christian Renewal Center’s Women’s Yearly Retreat (Julie Hansen, leader); Gladstone Christian Church; Harvest Community Church, Hillsboro (Glynna Marreel, leader); Church on the Mountain, Welches, OR; Summit View Church. Workshops or classes: Western Seminary, Pastoral Understanding of Women class, segment on “Shepherding Women”; and Network for Women in Leadership workshops; Workshop for Women at Hinson Memorial in Portland. I frequently teach (and developed) workshops on Identifying and Developing Your Spiritual Gifts. At Summit View Church I have been the coordinator of the Spiritual Growth and training classes for our church and tag-team teach these classes with other pastors. As one of the pastors on staff, I speak twice a year on a Sunday morning at Summit View Church. I have led and taught Bible Studies for most of the last 20 years. As a pastor, I have led and trained leaders in ministry for 13 years and frequently network with other leaders.
