Ministry Specialties - Teaching the Bible to women, teaching women how to study the Bible and how to teach the Bible to others, helping train Bible study leaders and small group leaders. Public speaking on inspirational (Biblical) topics. Teaching women to give life-changing (public speaking) inspirational messages. Speaking at women’s retreats or luncheons. Helping a church to organize a women’s Bible study.

Mission Statement: To share God’s truth with other women (by taking what God has shown/taught me and communicating it to other women through public speaking, through Bible teaching and by my own personal life example.)

Ministry Background - 7 years of Bible Study Fellowship, 5 as a small group discussion leader. Developed and coordinated several women’s Bible studies at Beaverton Christian Church. 7 years as co-director and co-teacher of 150-women weekly Bible study at BCC. Taught “Basic Faith” adult-education class at BCC for 3 years. Authored BCC women’s Bible study materials on the book of Joshua, book of Luke, Women of the Old Testament and others. Authored Marketplace Women small group Bible study material on the Beatitudes, Psalms, etc. Small group leader and speaker for Marketplace Women. 4 years as a seminary student at Western Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity degree. Bible study discussion leader and teacher at Rolling Hills Community Church. Taught graduate level class at Western Seminary to women, entitled “Developing and Delivering Life-Changing Messages (PCW 515) in Fall 2002 and Spring 2006.

Educational Background - Corvallis High School graduate (Corvallis, Oregon), B. S. in pharmacy from Oregon State University, 1966. Master of Divinity (M. Div.) from Western Seminary (Portland, Oregon) in 2002.

Professional Background - Part-time career as registered pharmacist for 30 years. Full-time “career” as wife and mother (now grandmother). Taught a one-term graduate level course at Western Seminary in Fall 2002, Spring 2006 as adjunct faculty member.

Professional Ministry Association - Network for Women in Leadership, Oregon, Leaders in Fellowship Together, Tucson, AZ, Oregon Society of Hospital Pharmacists, Oregon Christian Writers.
