The Master of Arts
in Ministry and Leadership with a Pastoral Care
to Women concentration (M.A.M.L. in PCW) program
is designed for women who see their ministry
vocation in an area of specialized ministry
to women. The focused emphasis on pastoral care
to women will prepare the student for effective
& compassionate ministry to women. She will
develop skills in leadership, biblical teaching,
program planning, as well as pastoral counseling
for women. This program prepares students to
serve in leadership roles in church, parachurch,
or compassionate ministries to women.
M.A. students
take a common sequence of courses to build a
strong core foundation. This will cultivate
skills in the study and interpretation of Scripture.
It will also promote growth and Christian maturity
as evidenced in interpersonal relationships.
Students will put their classroom studies into
practice through mentored field ministries.
The interaction between the student, advisor,
and field mentors will enable the student to
identify strengths and weaknesses as she refines
her ministry skills & effectiveness. The
program provides a good opportunity to explore
several areas of ministry, utilizing her training
and unique giftedness while expanding &
identifying areas of particular interest. This
program is accredited by ATS and NASC and consists

Former
MA-PCW graduates:
As I graduate
with my M.A. this spring, I leave more confident
in Christ's call on my life, much better equipped
to minister to women at every season of life,
humbled by what I have learned and how far
I have needed to be stretched.. (Phyllis
Bennett)
My involvement
in the PCW program has been a life-changing
experience for me. The Lord has used it to
both equip me for the challenges of ministry
in the 21st century and to conform my character
more closely to His image. (Kelly Fidler)
