These
are some of the comments I hear from women who are
looking for more training, networking, and resources
to minister to women. Often I see tears in their
eyes as I begin to describe the opportunities at
the Women's Center for Ministry. They can't believe
there really is a program designed to respond to
these specific desires.
I
have such a desire to minister to women, but I'm
not sure where to start. I know I need understanding
and training. How
do you minister from a biblical basis to women in
today's world?
I have been ministering
to women for quite a few years now and I feel I
need fresh input, greater understanding of the issues.
I need to know how the Bible relates to caring for
women's needs.
So
you know anyone who can show us how to effectively
shepherd women today, I mean with all of
the painful issues they experience?
My own story began with
a desire to minister to women without knowing how.
Nearly half of my experience in ministering to women
took place BEFORE I accessed educational opportunities.
The richness of the AFTER educational experiences
deepened my commitment and passion from God to design
opportunities for further training that are biblical,
relevant, and accessible. Every woman who wants to
minister should have this opportunity!
The Women's Center for
Ministry has been clearly birthed by God's hand for
"such a time as this." The issues women
face do seem more difficult, complicated, and challenging.
However, the answers to life's challenges have always
been in the Bible. Today our job is still to build
on that strong foundation. We need now, more that
ever, sensitive leaders and biblical shepherds who
integrate understanding of the painful issues with
biblical pastoral care principles.
No need to wait any
longer. Now you have an opportunity to access training,
networking, and resources that will enable you to
become more effective in ministering to women! We
are praying with you that God will make His way clear
for you.
Warmly,
Beverly
