Dr. Patrick Schreiner Accepts Position at Midwestern Seminary
Western Seminary faculty member Patrick Schreiner, PhD, has accepted a position at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Schreiner leaves Western after six years as Assistant Professor of New Testament Language and Literature.
"Dr. Schreiner has contributed to the school’s wellbeing in numerous ways," said Chuck Conniry, Western's provost and vice-president of academic affairs. "He has been a mentor and leader to his students and has enhanced the academic integrity of our programs."
Dr. Schreiner provided leadership to the ThM program and the Theophilus Cohort. He also co-hosts the seminary’s podcast, Food Trucks in Babylon along with faculty member Todd Miles, PhD.
"While we will sorely miss Patrick and his family, we trust in God’s leading and faithfulness and know that Midwest Baptist Theological Seminary will be a stronger institution for having Dr. Schreiner as a member of its faculty," said Conniry.
Dr. Shreiner's departure opens up a faculty position for Assistant or Associate Professor of New Testament Language and Literature. For more information, visit our employment page.
