 Western Seminary is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), the institutional accrediting body for colleges and universities in the Northwest region of the United States and recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education.
 Western Seminary is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS), the accrediting body for theological schools in the United States and Canada and recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education. Western’s accreditation status extends to extension education programs offered by its Center for Lifelong Learning.
