General admission materials include official transcripts from all postsecondary
schools, institutes, universities, and seminaries. A recommendation from the applicant's pastor and three personal letters of recommendation (on forms provided by Western Seminary) regarding the applicant's Christian character and leadership potential are required. Applicants must provide a written statement of Christian experience, as prompted by the application questions. Other
admissions steps may be required depending upon your intended program of studies.
These will cover areas of personal faith and growth, previous ministry experience, strengths and weaknesses for study and future service, and vocational objectives. A non-refundable fee of $50 must accompany the application. Late degree applications may be considered for non-degree
status in order to insure timely admission and registration.
