A New Seminary Anatomy: Heart

A Heart, Revived By the Gospel

Compassion is the word most often used to describe Jesus. And yet judgment is the word most often used to describe Christians. We’ve got a problem here. Western Seminary stakes its reputation for ministry training on gospel-centered transformation. The gospel is the ultimate display of God’s compassion for us. And so our students celebrate the salvation that comes through the gospel, while exploring how it brings implications for compassionate, Christ-like living. The result? Over 5000 of our graduates have spent lifetimes proclaiming and demonstrating this gospel. They bring the good news to life not only by shepherding churches, but by counseling the addicted and fighting the sex trade in ways that forever change the future of their communities. Hearts made new help to renew churches that advance the Great Commission.
