Certificate in Transformational Coaching
Certificate in Transformational Coaching (CTC)
This robust program prepares you to coach at the highest level. With 160 hours of coach specific training, supervised coaching, mentoring, and an assessment exam, you will not only know about coaching, but you will be competent and ready to coach others in a wide range of contexts. This program is appropriate for individuals in ministry and marketplace settings.
Participants who pass the certification phase earn the designation Certified Transformational Coach, are listed on the Western CTC roster, and are included in Western-sponsored coaching initiatives. Since all training is fully aligned with the International Coach Federation (ICF), CTC graduates are highly prepared for the credential application with the ICF.
The Certificate in Transformational Coaching can be completed in four semesters (approximately 14 months) and includes training, supervision and certification:
TRAINING/SUPERVISION Phase I
+ Intro to Coaching (MCS 510)
+ Coaching for Change, Transition and Transformation (MCS 511)
+ any six other coach training courses (MCS 512 – 518)
+ Coaching Supervision (MCS 519)
(Tuition at the audit rate is $400 per course, which totals $3,600 for all training and supervision. These costs reflect Western Seminary audit rates for coach training. The credit rate is $530 per course, or $4,770 total. Most students will register as audit/enrichment participants; students pursuing an academic degree or diploma should take the courses for credit.)*
CERTIFICATION Phase II

+ an assessment exam which consists of submitting two recordings that will be reviewed for PCC level coaching
(Certification Fee is $1,750*)
