Through the databases of EBSCO and Cengage/Learning (Gale), the library provides
students and faculty with electronic access to a large number of ministry, counseling, and
general interest resources. These resources include journal articles (many full-text), reference
works, and e-books that can be accessed anywhere through the Internet. These subscription
databases are restricted for use by Western students and faculty only. User IDs and passwords
are provided in the student handbook and in each course’s syllabus.
Electronic books previously accessed through NetLibrary are now available
by choosing the eBook Collection listed on the EBSCOhost database page.
Please note that as of 7/12/11, the EBSCOhost password has changed. If you
need to use EBSCOhost to access online journals, you will need to send the librarian, Donna
Greenhut, an email for the new password.
