Summer 2013 Elective
Thanks to your survey feedback, this summer Western will offer "Exposition of the Psalms" - BLS 527H - with Dr. Ray Lubeck as our B/TS elective. Dr. Lubeck is Professor of Bible and Theology at Multnomah University and a long-time and well-respected adjunct professor at Western Seminary. Dr. Lubeck has written Read the Bible for a Change and Swallowing Jonah: Strategies for Reading Biblical Narratives, edited Ed Goodrick’s Is My Bible the Inspired Word of God?, and contributed book chapters, articles, papers, and reviews for a number of publications. He is a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and the University of South Africa. "Exposition of the Psalms" is scheduled for the Portland campus, June 5 - 7, 2013.
Steve Korch to Teach in Spring and Summer Intensives
Dr. Steve Korch, Director of Pastoral Training at the San Jose campus of Western Seminary, will be teaching PTS 510SH "Preparing and Preaching Expository Sermons" in San Jose in the spring 2013 semester, and SFS 502H "Practicing Prayer and Other Key Spiritual Disciplines" in the summer 2013 semester.
