Western Seminary is an evangelical graduate school, made up of students who are diverse in both ethnicity and ministry aims -- but united in great love for Jesus and his gospel.
Western Seminary Online campus extends our trademark gospel-centered teaching across the nation and around the globe, in disciplines such as theology, divinity, ministry, and counseling. We make premier-quality ministry training available to Christian men and women who want to study where they live—so they can make the most of the learning laboratory where God has placed them. Our online training is also available to campus-based students in order offer them true scheduling flexibility: any course in any semester.
In 1981, Western pioneered seminary distance learning with a commitment to use emerging technology to make robustly biblical seminary training accessible. Today, evolutions in internet technology have allowed us to build our own Integr@te learning system to bring our classrooms to your desktop, dynamically connecting you to a community of instructors and other students who want to bring renewal to our world. Each course offers video lectures featuring our own faculty of ministry practitioners, as well as presentation materials, notes and other resources to aid your learning. Our vetted team of course instructors are the ones who will evaluate and mentor students throughout their class and beyond. And, as our students have enthusiastically noted, every Online campus multimedia course is yours to keep, bringing our internationally-respected faculty into your ministry study whenever you need them.
And as of 2013, students may complete an entire master's degree through our online campus: the Master of Arts (Biblical and Theological Studies).
