Portland Non Residential New Student Guide

Highlights from On-Campus Orientation

Our New Student Orientation is designed to provide you with the most important information you’ll need to know to successfully embark on your studies at Western.  Since you will not be able to join us on campus for the full orientation experience, we wanted to provide you with some highlights below.  Please take the time to listen to both of these messages as your schedule allows -- they include pertinent and powerful information designed to benefit you.

Presidential Address

President Randy Roberts shares his personal experience and insights from Scripture, in a powerful exhortation to incoming seminarians.  Dr. Roberts' message is about half an hour long, and well worth the listen.  We hope it proves educational and inspiring as you learn more about our seminary leader and consider all that God has for you during the course of your studies.

New Student Success Panel

Enjoy a group discussion with a number of Western Seminary graduates and staff members, designed to provide practical tips to help you succeed. Panelists speak to financial resources and budgeting, time management, degree program course planning, and keeping your relationships strong during seminary years.
