Abusive dynamics in marriage often cannot be resolved using typical marriage conflict resolution techniques. Learn how to recognize and better serve families dealing with issues of domestic violence and abuse.
Eating Disorders, Kimberly Davidson
Shepherding People with Eating Disorders - Today, more than ever before, women, men, teenagers, and some children, feel the pressure to be “perfectly” thin, to diet and over-exercise. This pressure is surfacing in the form of a monster called an eating disorder which doesn't go away. For some, concerns about weight turns into an obsession, causing considerable weight fluctuation, damaging body functions and generally interfering with day to day life. They develop an abnormal attitude towards food and their behavior becomes secretive and peculiar. Emotional, or disordered, eating is very serious, and God has specific processes for setting people free. In this workshop Kimberly will define the various types of eating disorders, open the window into the mind-set of a person with an eating disorder, discuss red flags, and offer shepherding resources.

Pornography, Blake & Melissa Williams
Sexual Impurity & Support for Recovery - Statistics tell us that half the men in your church are struggling with internet pornography and other sexual purity issues. Most of them are married to shocked, embarrassed, angry, and brokenhearted women. Discover how they got here, how to care for and counsel them on the healing journey, and other support resources available.
Post Abortive Issues, Mindy Johnson
Helping the Walking Wounded of Abortion - Society tells us abortion is a woman's right and choice with rarely any consequences. One in five professing evangelicals are choosing it. Yet, so many are unwilling to talk about it and many who have experienced an abortion feel it is an unforgivable sin. The truth is, for many it is a devastating decision with life long consequences. Learn how to help women and men through this very personal and life transforming healing process.

Real hope and authentic change results from a discipleship approach.
