- Women in Pain I Effective Ministry to women MUST
include a greater understanding of the issues that bring pain
into a woman's life: Suicide, Pornography, Domestic Violence,
Eating Disorders, Sexual Abuse, Widowhood, Lesbianism, Divorce
Recovery, Abortion Recovery. Developing awareness will enable
one to discern a woman's source of pain and encourage her to
take the first steps toward healing. Learn how, from a biblical
perspective, to help a woman grieve losses, begin transitioning
to health, and get professional help when needed -- while continuing

512Y - Women in Pain II Take a new and closer look at women
in pain. In addition to issues explored in PCW512x, this course
examines experiences that cause deep pain in women's lives.
Issues discussed will include: infertility, death of a child
, terminal illness, addictions, incarceration, homeless women,
physical disabilities, and religious abuse. From a biblical
perspective, students learn how to offer strategic pastoral
