A Pastoral Understanding
of Women Explore how the physiological,
psychological, cultural, and spiritual aspects
of a woman's life affect good pastoral care. Gain
understanding of seasons and transitions in life
cycles against the background of societal role
change for women. Discover biblical examples and
guidelines for shepherding women. Develop strategies
for developing friendships, mentoring relationships,
group support, and other helps for shepherding

Women in Pain I
Effective Ministry to women MUST include
a greater understanding of the issues that bring
pain into a woman's life: Suicide, Pornography,
Domestic Violence, Eating Disorders, Sexual
Abuse, Widowhood, Lesbianism, Divorce Recovery, Abortion
Recovery. Developing awareness will enable
one to discern a woman's source of pain and encourage
her to take the first steps toward healing. Learn
how, from a biblical perspective, to help a woman
grieve losses, begin transitioning to health,
and get professional help when needed -- while
continuing to walk beside her. 2 hours. Faculty:

Women
in Pain II Take a new and closer look
at women in pain. In addition to issues explored
in PCW512x, this course examines experiences
that cause deep pain in women's lives. Issues
discussed will include: infertility, death
of a child , terminal illness, addictions,
incarceration, homeless women, physical disabilities,
and religious abuse. From a biblical
perspective, students learn how to offer strategic
pastoral care and referral when needed. 2

Women in Leadership
Are you in leadership or preparing for a leadership
role? This class is designed for you and your
leadership team! Students will examine the call
and character of a woman in leadership, explore
the art of leadership, identify the essential
competencies, & much more. Gain insights from
biblical and historical examples of women in leadership.

Building Relational
Ministries to Women Learn how to build,
maintain and advance—from vision to reality—relational
ministries for women featuring four components:
cast the vision, build the team, discern the needs,
and mold the ministry. The focus is on relational
components, such as building and strengthening
a leadership team, accurately discerning the needs
of individual women and molding ministry around
that unique profile while developing spiritual
friendships and mentoring relationships. Students
will learn how to enhance ministry effectiveness
by reflecting a relational emphasis in promotion,
evaluation and celebration. 2 hours. Faculty:

Women and Spiritual
Warfare: Championing Women to Stand Firm in the
Face of Adversity (Formerly: PCW561G
Equipping Women to Identify and Embrace Their
Call.) Learn to recognize the strongholds
that are affecting women mentally, emotionally,
physically, and spiritually today. Gain biblical
insights that are practical and applicable in
guiding women out of confusion, emptiness, or
torment and into the fullness of who they were
created to be. Discover the enemy’s plan
to destroy through lies, fear, and shame while
learning to overcome him with the Sword of Truth.
Learn to equip women to stand in the face of adversity
by embracing the power, love, and sound mind they
have been given. Glean the biblical disciplines
that release women from bondage into the freedom
of their true identity, overwhelming victory,
and joy-filled life in Jesus Christ. 2 hour. Faculty:
