Jon M. Holmes, M.Div., M.A., L.M.F.T.

Director, Marital and Family Therapy Program

“Encountering the presence and life of the family Trinity is a great joy of the spiritual formation journey. The invitation to live in the joy, loyalty, power, courage and identity of this Family is one of the most relationally transformational themes woven throughout the Gospels. Father, Son, Spirit... The Family that truly is our Home.”

Further Ministry Experience

Jon came into the counseling field with a broad experiential background in youth ministry and pastoral counseling. He is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a private practice in Fair Oaks, CA. Jon specializes in working with: male-specific depression; A.D.H.D. in teens and adults; counseling support for pastors; addiction and recovery; trauma recovery; processing grief and loss; divorce recovery for teens from divorced families and law enforcement counseling support. Jon also works with Christian entrepreneurs who seek to establish a growing spiritual-relational life that clarifies how to lead from a place of wholeness and how to become transformational leaders as pastors in the greater marketplace of business culture. Within the counseling field, Jon places a high value on the unique training factors that develop Christian practitioners. As an instructor and supervisor, he encourages therapists-in-training to see their Christ-centered journey of renewal and growth as one of the core anchoring realities that enables them to be transformationally present for others as a practitioner of the therapeutic healing arts.
