When Will I Receive a Tuition Bill?

When Will I Receive a Tuition Bill?

Billing is done via e-mail (please keep us informed of your e-mail address). No paper statements are sent. It is the student's responsibility to know when tuition is due and pay it when it is due.

E-bills are sent:

  1. several weeks before the term begins,
  2. every time there is a transaction on your student account, and,
  3. at the end of the month if there has been activity during the month or if there is a balance (debit or credit).

Payments are made:

Payment for degree tuition is due in full the Friday before the semester begins regardless of when your class meets. Non-credit Audit tuition is due at the time of registration.

Payment for tuition should be made on our website through our Student Information System (SIS) portal. You will need a username and password to do this.  For help in setting up a SIS account, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Payments made by eCheck (electronic check) are free of charge.  Payments made by Debit or Credit cards will be charged a 2.65% fee by our payment processor.  Please pay by eCheck (checking or savings electronic check) to avoid this fee.

You may also mail a check to: Western Seminary, Attn: Cashier, 5511 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Portland, OR 97215 or enroll in Western Seminary's payment plan to make monthly payments.

Waiting on Financial Aid or a Third party payer?

It can take up to 8 weeks to receive financial aid, so prepare now to pay in full by credit card, or enroll in the Western payment plan if your financial aid or third party check does not arrive by the first week of the semester. Failure to pay on time may result in the Business Office dropping you from your courses.
