YoungLife Seminary Partnership

YoungLife desires that every adolescent will have the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ and follow Him. At the same time, Western Seminary trains men and women to bring Jesus fame by ministering in the power of the His gospel. With such great alignment in our missions and theological beliefs, we've come together to offer special benefits to YoungLife staff who seek premier seminary training.

Smart class scheduling means you don't stop serving

We're great at training part-time students who are already serving in ministry -- like the many YoungLife staff who serve around the globe. We bring innovation with accessible course scheduling at campuses online as well as 2-4 day intensive courses in PortlandSan Jose, Sacramento, and Seattle.

Western Seminary degree options include:

Seminary training that speaks to kids where they are

The M.A. in Ministry and Leadership - Youth and Family Ministry Track connects you with faculty who've invested years in the lives of youth, as well as with fellow students who minister to kids. In addition to these specialized courses, you'll complete foundational studies in the Bible, ministry, spiritual formation, and theology. It all adds up to training that gets you equipped for transformative ministry with YoungLife, and for wherever God leads during your lifetime. The program may be completed in as little as two years, and lets you take classes online in addition to brief, intensive courses at our various campuses.
