Integrate Your Faith With Your Practice

Western Seminary's MA in Counseling prepares counselors to care for the whole person in the populations they serve. Our accredited program offers skill-based coursework, internship experience, as well as a requirement to complete your own personal counseling. Since this program is offered at a seminary, it offers an integrative approach to counseling that seeks to understand counseling issues from both a psychological and Christian point of view.

Get hands-on, practical training with four semester of supervised internship. Apply what you're learning in the classroom almost immediately by serving clients as early as your second semester.

As a counselor, we sit with people in their brokenness. People who desire to see changes in their lives. Knowing that there is a God who never changes, whose promises will remain faithful, equips me to sit with people in an ever changing world.
