Non-residential Program with Flexible Schedule

Convenient courses allow students to remain active in ministry while studying. Courses are conducted in one or two week intensive modules allowing students to remain active in ministry without resignation or relocation. The module design includes pre-session preparation, in-class meeting, and follow-up work, maintaining academic integrity.

Faculty-student ratio

A low faculty-student ratio allows for stimulating interaction with faculty, as well as with fellow students, who are intercultural practitioners.

Experienced Faculty

Professors include both resident and visiting experts representing the spectrum of cross-cultural practitioners. These seasoned veterans are actively engaged in cross-cultural ministry, traveling around the world to bring current findings and experiences into the classroom.

Doctor of Ministry Electives Available

Take advantage of cross-pollination with pastoral practitioners through electives made available through our in-house D.Min. program at Western.

Doctor of Intercultural Studies Dissertation

Work closely with the dissertation chair and second reader who advise and mentor through the research/writing phase of the program.
