When Will I Receive a Tuition Bill?

Western Seminary does not send formal tuition bills, but you will be notified via e-mail when tuition charges are applied to your student account, so please login regularly to your Western Seminary email account

Emails are sent:

  1. several weeks before the term begins,
  2. every time there is a transaction on your student account, and,
  3. at the end of the month if there has been activity during the month or if there is a balance.

Payments are made:

Payment for degree tuition is due in full the first Friday of the semester regardless of when your class meets. Non-credit Audit tuition is due at the time of registration.

Payment for tuition should be made on our website through our Student Information System (S.I.S.) portal. For help in setting up a S.I.S. account, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Payments can be made by credit card or from your checking account through S.I.S.

You may also mail a check to: Western Seminary, Attn: Cashier, 5511 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Portland, OR 97215 or enroll in Western Seminary's payment plan on S.I.S. to make monthly payments.

If you are an international student, please see our International Student Payments page.

Waiting on Financial Aid or a Third party payer?

It can take up to 8 weeks to receive financial aid, so prepare now to pay in full by credit card, or enroll in the Western payment plan if your financial aid or third party check does not arrive by the first week of the semester. Failure to pay on time may result in the Business Office dropping you from your courses.
