Register for Coaching Courses

How you register depends on whether you are a Credit-Seeking Student or an Auditor.

Are you a Credit-Seeking Student or an Auditor?

  • Credit-Seeking Students designate students currently in, or pursuing, a Master's Degree Program, Graduate Studies Certificate (GSC), or a Graduate Studies Diploma (GSD).  You will register for courses with the CO500 level course numbers.  Please Apply to Western Seminary

  • Auditors designate students who are only interested in the Coaching Program.  You will register for couses with the CO200 level course numbers.  Please follow the steps for registration below.

  • Wondering if you should take classes for Credit or Audit?
  • To earn the Certificate in Transformational Coaching, you can take classes as a credit OR audit student; both options count the same toward the CTC and ACTC.  In fact, most of our coaching students are auditors!  The classroom experience is exactly the same.  Auditors just have: less homework, less deadlines, more flexibility in registering and paying for classes.  If one of Western Seminary's Master's Degree Programs is your goal, you will apply to that program through Western Seminary and take coaching courses for credit.  But, if earning a Coaching Certification and pursuing coaching is your primary goal, then audit is for you!  If you need help clarifying your goals, please reach out to the This email address is being protected from spambots. You already know the drill!  You can register for coaching classes the same way you’d register for any other class using S.I.S..  Remember you must take Introduction to Coaching (CO500) before taking any other classes.  You can take coaching classes for credit (each class is 1 credit) or as an audit student.  Refer to the tuiton and fees page for current coaching class rates.

Coaching Classes are tentative until minimum enrollment has been met.  To let us know you're interested in a class, simply go to the registration tab and add the class to your cart.  By adding classes to your cart you let us know we should keep the class on the schedule!
