The Advanced Certificate in Transformational Coaching


Program Objectives

Western Seminary offers the Advanced Certificate in Transformational Coaching program for individuals who desire focused coach training that prepares them to coach on a professional level and which can be applied toward credentialing with the International Coach Federation (ICF) on the ACTP path to the Associate Certified Coach (ACC)

Admission Requirements

Students entering the Advanced Certificate in Transformational Coaching on a non-graduate status are expected to give evidence of Christian faith, character, promise, and maturity. Students wanting to establish an audit account and register for classes will fill out the Advanced CTC application for entry to the program.

Advanced Certificate in Transformational Coaching Requirements

Please note: There are three components to the certificate: coach training and supervision, coach hours, and a research project.
Required Coach Training Course: 1 unit
CO208 Advanced Growing Your Coaching Practice 1
Coaching Supervision: 1 unit
CO231 Advanced Coaching Supervision 1
Coaching Research: 1 unit
CO232 ACTC Research Project 1
Coaching Experience: 40 hours
Logged Coaching Experience Hours

Coach Certification

Following the completion of the coach training and supervision, coaching hours, and research project, students submit one recording (30 minutes) demontrating ACC level competencies as defined by the International Coach Federation (ICF). Completing the Advanced CTC successfully will allow you to apply for ICF ACC credential using the Approved Coach Training Program (ACTP) pathway.
